I’m Jessica! Thanks for stopping by! Here’s a little bit about me. I’m married to my best friend and we have 2 girls, Sophia and Emma. We moved to Charleston, SC from Massachusetts back in 2021. We have 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs and recently took in a dwarf hamster. It’s like a dang zoo over here.
My life consists of coffee, Diet Coke and whiskey. I love the occasional dance party in my kitchen, I’m a sucker for trashy reality TV & any cheesy 80’s/early 90’s movie (can we say Spaceballs, Beetlejuice & Coming To America?!). I’m sarcastic, brutally honest & I don’t always have my filter turned on. I have the mouth of a sailor and I love a good tattoo…I am definitely not your typical Southern Belle.
On a more serious note, I’ve always enjoyed writing but really got into it as an outlet/bit of therapy while dealing with horrible Post Partum Depression after the birth of my youngest. I like to call it my “Baby Rabies.”
Writing became my escape, it helped get all the sadness out & with that came the birth of my first virtual baby “High Heeled Mommy.” My original online presence where we talked all things Mommyhood and babies.
But we are starting new. I’m older, the kids are older. Life is different. Everything is different so I felt an upgrade was necessary. So now I give you…The Sweet Tea Diaries.
